Short and Thick Everyday Copper Hair Fork

This is my go-to hair fork for everyday use. It's short - just long enough to hold my smaller bun in place, and made from thicker copper wire. It's strong enough to hold my hair morning to night and small enough to keep handy in a purse or pocket.

This hair fork is handmade from copper wire that has been textured using various metalworking methods. 

The forks are roughly 3-1/4 inches long, give or take a bit as each one is handmade. The ends are filed to a smooth, rounded point. The inside distance between the forks is about half an inch.

The copper is not treated, so you can either let it develop a beautiful copper patina, or you can keep it bright by cleaning it with ketchup and then rinsing with soap and water.
