Refund policy

I love and put love in to everything that I make, and chances are that you will love everything you purchase from me. 

But, on the off chance that you really don't like it, here's what you can do:

- Don't wear or use it! Anything you return has to be in the same new/unused/unworn condition that it was in when I shipped it to you.

- Ship it back to me within 30 days of receipt.

 - You'll have to pay the return shipping, unless the item is defective. Sorry, I'm a small, one-woman shop, not a multi-national corporation.

Now for the rambling part of my return policy.....because I've been on the other side of strict 30 day return policies, and they make it hard to do early gift shopping. So....

- If you see something that would be a perfect gift for someone, but the gifting day is more than 30 days out, that's okay. Drop a note in the checkout or shoot me an email  or a text message saying something like "this is for my wife's birthday on xx date". I'll make a note of the date, and your 30 day window for returns will start on that date. All of the other above rules still apply, though. 

 

There are two ways to return an item:

1) You can purchase your own postage using USPS to ship the item to me. The return address is:

2) You can request a return shipping label by contacting me at mainejewelry@yahoo.com. I will send you a USPS return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. $3.00 will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
The item has to be in original condition and not worn or used. When you return something, there's an implied pinky swear that you didn't use it.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to make a separate purchase for the new item, then return the item you have.

Refunds
I will notify you when I've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
