What Makes This Piece Special?
With a finely detailed sailboat gliding through the waves under a sparkling sun, this hair fork securely holds long hair in a bun, whether sailing on a bright day or taking a stroll ashore.
The Technical Details
The metal pieces and the heavy wire fork are sterling silver. The sailboat is die cast in my studio. The sun is a 6mm rose cut citrine gemstone.
The hair fork is a little over 5-1/4 inches long, with a usable length of 4-1/2 inches. The forks are 3/4 inches apart at the widest point. The ends are filed at an angle and then rounded smooth.
