Rose Bush Sterling Silver Hair Fork

Hold your hair bun or updo with a framed scene of a rose bush cutting in sterling silver. The raised design is two clusters of roses deeply veined leaves on a short branch. I added a sterling wire edge and oxidized the scene to enhance the details.

The rose scene is 1-1/8 inch across. The total length is 5-3/4 inches and the useable fork length is 4-1/2 inches. The entire piece is handmade from sterling silver sheet and wire.

 A hair fork, also called chignon pin or french hair pin, is used to secure a hair bun, french twist, or other twisted updo hairstyles.
