Mookaite is found exclusively near the Kennedy Ranges in Western Australia and was first discovered at Mooka Station.
The stone on this fork is a bit larger and heavier than most of my pieces. It is designed for a larger bun and thicker hair. I don't recommend it for fine hair.
The Technical Details
The stone is Mookaite and is set in sterling and fine silver. The forks are also sterling silver. This is a one of a kind piece.
The setting is approximately 1-1/2 across, corner to corner, and the edges are about 1-1/4 inches. The fork is finished to a usable length of 4-1/2 inches.
