This hair fork is made from copper sheet and copper wire. 

The design portion of the hair fork is about 1-3/4 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches high. The forks are about an inch wide and will be finished to the length you select.

The copper is not treated, so you can either let it develop a beautiful copper patina, or you can keep it bright by cleaning it with ketchup and then rinsing with soap and water.

 A hair fork, also called chignon pin or french hair pin, is used to secure a hair bun, french twist, or other twisted updo hairstyles.
