Garden Visitor - Part of the Gardens and Gardening Collection
Bears sometimes visit rural gardens, but this one is featured in a more natural habitat - a mountain stream. This one of a kind necklace is inspired by that week on television every fall where bears are filmed eating lots of salmon for seven days (the name is trademarked).
The top part of the pendant has a three dimensional bear walking with mountains in the background. The bottom part is a Tahoma Agate cabochon with a stunning pattern of whites, grays, and browns that look like rapids on a rocky waterfall.
Tahoma Agate is a rare stone found near Mount Rainier in Washington. The textures and compositions create beautiful abstract scenes, like this one of water on rocks.
The Technical Details
The pendant is slightly over 1-1/2 inches high and 7/8 inch wide and comes on an 18 inch sterling silver chain. This is a hefty pendant.
